While it is the most popular free MMO in the world, Runescape receives a lot of criticism over its grindy, repetitive gameplay, which is based around completing quests and levelling professions. However, no matter which profession you choose, levelling in Runescape is all about clicking on the same spot millions of times, for hours on end. This may sound boring initially, but what most critics don’t realise is that there are many, many wonderful things to be learnt from playing Runescape.
Runescape will make you rich
In the highly unlikely event that you do not become a billion dollar CEO, never fear. Runescape will still make you rich if you choose to get into the art of trading its most valuable fantasy goods.
Runescape will make you popular
If you watch How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, listen to Lady Gaga, and go to the movies only to watch summer blockbusters, you’re most likely already a popular guy or gal. People like you based on what you like. But if you happen not to like mainstream culture, that’s okay, you can still be popular, you just need to vastly alter and rebuild your personality from the ground up.
You can play with one hand
Am I describing a Runescape player or a man with a shining career in expert data entry, earning in excess of $15/hour? It’s hard to tell.
